I recently purchased a 2004 Toyota Tacoma for my father. I got it home and filled the tank, I went to reset the Tripometer to measure my gas millage. To my amazement there wasn't one. I have tried to search online to see if this is normal but I was not able to locate any information stating that it is a add on option by toyota. Am I missing something or what. Shouldn't it be standard on vehicles. Thank you everyone for your responses.
The odometer is not digital. There does not seem to be any buttons anywhere on the instrument cluster.

Every car does. Push in Odometer for 3-5 seconds and tripometer will show as there are not 2 seperate ones.

I know that on Chevy, Dodge, and Ford it is a standard feature that allows you to see how far your vehicle travels on a tank of gas. I wonder why Toyota Tacomas don't have one?
