I started smoking when i was 14, i'm now 17. I don't
smoke much at all, like maybe 3 packs a year or less.
Its not a social thing, nor to try and look cool. I usually
smoke alone because i'm ashamed. I don't want people to
think i'm a smoker because i'm really not. At least, i don't
consider myself to be one. Do you?

Also.. i have these odd smoking patterns. Depending
on how i feel. For example. I had 5 today, but before today
i only had 1 two months ago in May. Before that i had 3
in March. Before that i smoked daily for a couple weeks.
Then i'll quit for months with no problem. I inhale, and i like it.
But i'm not addicted. Not by a long shot.

I smoke regular marlboro menthol's like most people.
So i don't really understand the whole nicotine
addiction thing. Why do they get addicted but not me?

i agree..ur brain is not crying for it because u don't take it enough

Basically, because you haven't smoked enough for a long enough period at any one time. Be careful with it, though, since if you do start smoking more you may well become addicted.

you dont get addicted because you dont smoke regularly
i used to be just like this.. then i started smoking regularly.. got addicted:(

Just a high tolerance for nicotine. Some people can smoke every once and a while because their bodies don't crave nicotine as much as others. Although smoking is one of the worst things you can do, at least you're not doing 3 packs a day. All the best
