Why don't people understand how dangerous wolf hybrids are?

My dad is a wolf biologist, and I've seen over and over that wolf-dog hybrids are about the most dangerous animals on the planet.
A full wolf actually makes a better pet for a skilled and knowledgeable owner than the hybrid would. Most hybrids are highly unpredictable, and it is not unusual for them to be good family pets for a year or two and then snap and attack.
Whereas a wolf has a strong pack mentality, and if properly trained, will view you as it's unconditional alpha.

I don't recommend keeping either as pets, but after going along with my dad on several cases where a hybrid has killed it's family or the family children, I wonder why in the world people think it's a good idea to mate a wild animal with a human-dependent animal. The result is just a highly volatile, unpredictable dog.

Please, never get a wolf or hybrid, one belongs in the wild, and one doesn't belong anywhere.
