Why has fashion gotten so trashy?

Eh, I only get a bit creeped out about by it when I see young girls wear that type of stuff. I definitely don't complain when attractive women do!

I totally know what you're talking about and I am 18 myself. I work at a clothing store and see the stuff they started to sell towards 10 years old that loooks crazy too! I personally don't wear short stuff that I don't feel comfortable picking up my dropped items in!

The problem is that parents are allowing kids to buy whatever they choose, and with demand comes supply. I don't even owned a pair of ripped jeans just because I am against it. But since everyone else is... that's all most stores sell now days! ridiculous!

cause teen agers seem to think they are adults and that dressing that way makes them adult like. lol i'm a 15 year girl though and pretty much just wear t-shirts and jeans lol

Especially for teen girls. I went looking for a certain type of top I wanted to buy and went into some clothing stores. I was horrified. Especially by the clothes for girls. Honestly, 90% of the stuff I saw make you literally look like a hooker. Stiletto heels, extremely tiny lace thongs, too tight tops, waaaay to short mini skirts, among other things. For TEENAGE girls! Any parent who would let their daughter dress that way really must have issues. Any parent who doesn't find that a problem has issues. I'd be worried to death about my kid if I ever saw her look like that. How have these styles become acceptable? How come this sort of clothing is marketed to young girls? Don't they realize by dressing that way, they look like TRASH? It is NOT attractive. They look like oversexed, over horny twits. No wonder there's such a problem now with young girls and sex. I am not surprised in the least. I understand showing a little bit of skin. Nothing wrong with that sometimes. A LITTLE BIT OF SKIN!! Not wearing tops that your boobs are popping out of, or skirts you see your panties in. What happened to a little bit of modesty? Seriously, like it or not, they are still children!! I'm in my 30's and I wouldn't even dress that way. What is happening to our young girls?

Well i think girls want to grow up too fast. If you got it flaunt it. Thats what most would say, but they dont understand the dangers. My mom lets me wear anything i want, but one time i was in a short skirt and there was the creppo old guy who wouldnt take his eyes of my legs in the elevator, and he watched every move i made. I think they may describe some people who cover there bodys like crazy(My pe teacher) old or boring. My best friend has a closet of thongs and shes 14. I do have a share of trashy cloths, i think everyone does, but in the end you have to respect yourself and not give it all away (leave some to peoples imagination lol)
