Why is anyone who ever questions the Government or it's "official story" on any major or minor event that happens a crazy " tin foil wearing conspiracy theorist"?

I don't get it, have people gotten so stupid and ignorant that they only believe what the government tells them and not question the truth.. Even when the "conspiracy theorists" bring up some valid or interesting points...

Why is it that we are taught to not question the government, and to laugh at those who do, labeling them heretics just for asking the government critical questions or bringing up things that don't make sense.... When have we lost our ability to reason or think critically..

WHy would we rather take the easy way out, instead of striving to find the truth? What has happened to America?...

Its normal for populations to get complacent, if the majority is doing well, in their own opinion.
We have not achieved a single inch of better quality for our lives since the 70's, other then added a lot of time wasting electronic gadgets to distract us and make us complacent.
The problem starts with parents and education, which thrive to hold on to status quo, - Don't rock the boat - .
The next problem is, that people don't want to know the truth, they can't handle it. For instance - Religion is garbage, but most people cling to this primitive fairy tale crap. Most people think, that their leaders are special, not realizing they are just snake oil sales man.

The masses are uneducated and want to stay that way and the one on the top love it too.

Let me just ask a question, why are we wasting Billions in Iraq and Afghanistan again?

It's not the fact that people question conspiracy theorists. It's the fact that conspiracy theorists skip over facts that clearly debunk their arguments. They want it so bad to be the truth for sake of winning a argument or pushing their own agenda that they don't reasonably listen to professional opinions surrounding the events. They then, out of paranoia, label anyone with facts or proof as in on the conspiracy. Is that really looking for the truth? Anyone who does such a thing should be labeled ignorant IMO.
