You have GOT to be kidding me. In the last 10 years the price of the average home has DOUBLED. When is the last time my salary doubled? And now that houses cost a few percent less that two years ago everyone is panicking???!!!
If anything the cost of the average home should DROP dramatically- to where it was about 15 years ago, which is where it belongs. How DARE someone ask $800,000 for what is essentially a SHACK- a cheaply built aging piece of CRAP. For that kind of money I should be able to buy a CASTLE. I am sick and tired of hideously inflated prices. When my salary is indexed to what things cost you can raise prices all you want. Anything short of this is simply a rip-off.
P.S- I love how we are so conditioned to think that a 3% raise is so good, when goods and services regularly rise in the double and triple digits.
