Why is it important to be new of old/new, rather than old or mingled new + old?

Of old/new: OT/NT it's now new; but de-fault goes to the law.
Putting new wine in old skin causes "burst": Lk 5:37 ... Acts 1:18.
So Christ would not receive "mingled" drink: Mt 27:34; Mk 15:23.

Of law/grace it's now grace: Luke 16:16; John 1:17.
Law is old and faulty, so it's ready to vanish: Heb 8.
It demands be perfect, but it's not perfect, not can it make ppl perfect.
So the allegory for "be ye perfect" is be "grace", which is be "merciful".
Merciful only occurs when Law is allowed to be "dead testator" of NT.

Of BC/AD it's now AD--> only goes one way... unto the end written;
which is notably the end of the f-law (no mention of law in the end);
For only what began can end. Laws began.
It's notably called the beginning of sorrows.

For what goes Fwd only also goes Up only; So notice 2 "through"s:
- peace with God is "through Jesus --> Christ", only in Christ thereof.
(such is first getting it right of left/right things, but not the end yet)
- reconciled unto God is "through Christ --> God-ward"
(such is getting it above of under/above, which is harmless)

For 2 Sons Jesus is not 1 Son Christ.
