celebs as ugly? Sometimes people describe chubby/overweight male celebrities like Seth Rogen or Jack Black as being cute or even attractive. I remember reading a magazine article from years ago which described actor John Goodman as being attractive in a "cuddly teddy bear" sort of way.
But why is it when it comes to chubby/overweight female celebrities like Rosie O'Donnell, Roseanne, or Mo'Nique, people get all grossed out and call them ugly and nasty?
I'm not saying that all people feel this way, but in general it seems that there's a greater tendency for people to find fat male celebs more attractive than fat female celebs.
Do you think it's a double standard?
Missy: LOL I totally agree about John Goodman not being attractive. Here's a pic someone made of him on Photoshop to see what he would look like skinny...and he still doesn't look that good:
