Why is it so hard for people to accept lesbian females, but so hard to accept a

gay male? I'm doing a research paper for my writing course and i really just wanted opinions to this matter... when a female is gay, they usually dont get harassed by others but when a gay guy comes out, they are immediately criticized and bullied. Why does society accept gay girls but not gay guys??
