rant than a question)? i don't get why people are so quick to assume some things don't exist. for example, aliens. why is it so hard to believe that in a universe soooooo freakin huge there are not others beings, also there have been sighting of aliens and ufo's since ancient times. Why don't people believe in Bigfoot? why is it so hard to believe in it. scientist are always discovering new species, despite the fakers out there. the same goes for other creatures like chupacabra, the loch ness monster. what about ghosts or spirits? people have souls or energy or manna. what ever you call it, its the same thing, so why is hard to believe that when we die, our souls may stay behind. do YOU believe???

I personally am guessing there is mostly likely life out there in the universe, but I don't think they have visited Earth. Possible? Yes. Likley? No. Remember when the old world visited the new world? Other life out there probably formed very differently, and doesn't work like it does here (no cells, maybe, for example). They are most likely unintelligent, too.

But, I don't believe in things. Prove it and I will accept it.

EDIT: To Rick Li, science is not mind limitation. Science strives to find a better truth and understanding of everything.

Human achievements limiting their minds to human surroundings only. Nuff said.
JK.
Well see, what we know about the world are all discovered by US. The things that we say don't exsist are merely based on fact. What is a fact? Isn't a fact also developed by the human mind?
Me myself would love to believe in anything, except the things that say " you cannot believe others"
Science= mind limitation.
Fantasy= mind self manifestation.
