Why is it that ladies complain about the smell in the bathroom?

lets say someone had a bowel movement in a public restroom. why do most ladies (that's all im familiar with) complain about the smell. Doesn't everybody do the same thing everyday, is it that they can tolerate their own poo but no one else's. Why do they make such a big deal about it. When i go to the restroom and it smells like poo, yeah it stinks, but hey when someone has to go they have to go. Am I looking at this wrong, i know its a silly question, but i have always wondered about that. And then i wonder are men the same way in a public restroom. Serious answers please...
