why is it that no one like country music?

Everyone around here doesn't like country music?! i dont understand country music is my favorite !!! good songs, good words!!! i guess its because they media is mostly showing rap/hip hop idk what do you guys think?

im not saying around the world im saying in my area which is mostly a place where everyone listens to rap and hiphop and hates country

I feel you... I'm in NY... we have not ONE Country station. I'm Italian, I have no connections to the South, there's no cultural reason for me to like country whatsoever, but it moves me like no other. Both old country and some new. I wish it were more popular here!
