Why is it the religions that preach the existence of an Almighty God are the ones...

...causing all the trouble? It seems to me that the extremists of religion are basically saying:
"God is all powerful, he loves you and wants you to believe in him but since he can't be bothered dealing with you right now I'm going to have to deal with you personally for God."
 
We are prepared to be hated by those who are non believers.

Matthew 10:22And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.

But the trouble remains in the hearts of the non believers, not the believers.
 
Your question is vague. God has time for everyone who calls on Him. Try it sometime.
