In the repl;ay the ball was more than a foot (30 cms) over the line. Strongest evidence for the worst referee's call in World Cup history so far. He needs eyeglasses.

The US was a slightly acceptable mistake, and it was in a group stage game. This was a decision that could ahve changed the game, because it would have been 2-2 at the time, and it was a clearly wrong decision in an elimination game! I hope nothing like that happens against Portugal on Tuesday...

because if you score a goal it should mean you get a point and dont you dare start telling me that you yanks never complain about a game

I completely agree that it was unfair on the US to disallow their goals. No one can deny that, an injustice is an injustice. However, I didn't whine or cry about the US disallowed goals because I don't support them, and therefore don't really care. Surely that's obvious?

What this shows though, for any team, is that we really need goal line technology.
