Why is my computer making a high pitched noise after installing new RAM?

I know the max amount of ram my computer can have
and yes i installed it correctly because it is working
but now ONLY ONE IN WHILE my computer makes this high pitched long beeping noise...
i dont know what it is... could anyone help me with this?

i have a compaq presario f560us
and i put in 2gb of ram (which is the max)

i dont know what is going on with it when it does this.
