Ok so my 7month old siberian husky/ German shepherd mix recently overcame parvo (without a vet/ expensive bill btw) and now he seems different. He used to be quiet and independent but would bark when somebody came to the door. Now he just sits in front of us, barks and whines continuously, tries to give us his paw and lick our faces.
Oh yeah, unfortunately his "brother" (not by blood, we just had him first.) died Oct. 1st from parvo.
and for those who think it's because he's not trained:
My dog IS trained. He has no bad behavior whatsoever. He knows how to sit, speak, give paw, lay down, roll over, high five and double high five, be quiet, he knows what 'upstairs' and 'downstairs' means, he can say "i love you", he knows to get in the bathtub to take a bath, and he knows to go outside to potty, he gives you his leash when he takes a walk, and he doesn't like being outside. So tell me he's not trained, and i'll call you a liar.
Ok? Well Becca, i give my dog attention and love all the time, and we take him out to 'potty' every 30 minutes or so because we thought that's why he was barking but he just goes out there and barks even more. And some people might think he has bad behavior and wasn't trained properly. We're not idiots, we can take care of a dog.
