I am running windows 7.
First to even get Windows to recognize that there is a DVD drive I have to go to my folders icon and type in "D:\"
A minute later it realizes there is a drive and then it allows me to view the contents. When I try and install drivers form the CD/DVD I just get a long loading green bar at the top where i typed in the D:\
Why is it doing this? This is a fresh install BTW, no chance of virus, and on a legitimate copy of Windows 7 Home Premium.
I am running
1090T AMD
990FX motherboard
16GB of DDR 1600
120GB SSD boot drive
2 500GB Sata 2 drive, NOT IN RAID 0 or any other type of RAID. That would be too easy to fix.
All windows updates have been applied.
