whenever i chew on the right side of my mouth, my left jaw pops. sometimes if i'm laying down on my side and chewing gum or something if my mouth opens wrong it pops really slow and occasionally can hurt. i've looked up TMJ but that says it's painful, which there is no pain. and i've also asked my dentist but she was a real biatch about it saying that if it doesn't hurt then there's nothing to worry about.
what should i do??

Well same thing happens to me but eventually i learned to live with it, i cant even move my jaw without it happining.

If you don't like your dentists answer you could try a different one to see if he/she better answers your concerns.

"In milder cases, the only representation may be joint sound such as clicking or popping."

It sounds like TMJ in milder cases may not always be painful.
