My Mazda Millenia has been jerky when I start the car in the morning. I would warm it up and that seemed to help. Also when I parked the car nose in a little slanted up it would stall when I would start it. I started to back it in and that seemed to help the stalling problem. The jerkiness was usually only for a few yards and then the car would smooth out. Today after a crazy day of rain, the jerkiness seemed to happen whenever I was at low speeds are trying to go from stop. The car even stalled out a few times. I will be taking it to a mechanic on monday but would like to have an idea of what is wrong so that I don't get taken for. This seems to happen to me often. Is this something that is going to cost thousands of dollars to fix? Thanks for the help!!

Possibly clogged fuel filter or bad gas. You can try adding some Dry Gas from auto store. Take it somewhere and get an estimate before they do any work.

Sounds like you have a dirty fuel filter or your fuel pump is going bad or a combination of both. The other possibility is that your mazda needs a tune up, which would include new spark plugs, wires, cap & rotor if your car has a distributor.
