A few days ago, I had to go to the ER because I was having an allerigic reaction to hairdye. I have never ever had an allergic reaction to hairdye before. While at the hospital, my throat was swelling shut, I had hives all over my head and neck, as well as my arms and face, and all of my lymph nodes in my neck were swollen. I was given a steriod/epinephrine shot to stop the reaction in my left buttocks, which hurt, real bad. After I wqas given the shot, the reaction slowed, but did not stop. i was given a prescription of prednisone and antihitimines. it has been three days now, and I still don't feel right. My neck, especially, is vrey warm, almost tingly feeling, and still a little bit itchy, but i do not have a rash anywhere. My muscles are very very sore in my neck, but my nodes are not swollen. I can barely turn my head. Any ideas what might be causing this?
Am I still having a reaction? or could this be the after effects of the steriods on my body?

Its possible to be steroids as i would say. I'm no doctor. My mom is and the shot can't cure.
