In 2004, while campaigning for Senate, Obama told Illinois college students he felt marijuana should be legalized and decriminalized, and that it was a horrible waste of police force.
In 2007, when a group of democrats where asked if they opposed marijuana, Obama raised his hand.
He later went back and said he was "Always" pro-marijuana, and he confused about the question. cnn.com posted the video and he quickly changed his public view on Marijuana.
On Decemeber 15th, Obama answered the top ten most voted-upon questions on "open for questions," service. The number one question was shrugged off with a "No, next question"
Q: “Will you consider legalizing marijuana so that the government can regulate it, tax it, put age limits on it, and create millions of new jobs and create a billion dollar industry right here in the U.S.?”
A: “President-elect Obama is not in favor of the legalization of marijuana.”

He's also called the drug war an utter failure, and then went off and appointed it's author as his Vice President, and continued the epic waste of money involved in funding the drug war.
He's admitted to use of marijuana and cocaine in his youth, but I guess somehow fails to realize the discrepancy that if he were arrested for that, he would not be the president of America right now, he would be a convicted a felon.
