why is one tree hill always taking breaks?

i mean, they make a new episode and then the next week it is a repeat. then a new episode, and then now it is taking like a month for the new episode to air! im getting mad.... i want to know if something is wrong with the set or perhaps the CW! what is going on!!!
 
the writers strike set everyting back and mad it all go crazy thats why ugly betty and heroes etc... have all been a bit messed up
