why is pda allowed in public schools, but not private schools?

Why are public displays of affection allowed in public schools, but not private schools? I go to a private school no public displays of affection allowed . I understand why they won't let us kiss , but holding hands? What is wrong with holding hands ? Why can't a couple hold hands? There is nothing wrong with a boy and girl holding hands. If you can explain this to me I would respect this code much better. Thanks :)


How is that a big deal? What is wrong with holding hands

its not so much as its bad, its just that private schools are much more focused. they find it distracting to people, and find that it can lead kids away from what they are trying to teach. that is why some private schools are still all boys, or all girls.
