Why is teenage sexuality so looked down on?

It seems that teens having sex is so looked down on and I understand. I look down on it to, but its weird because I am turning 16 in 6 weeks and lost my virginity this month.
But, teens have desires just like a 23 year old.. but its fine when a 20 year old has sex..but not when someone like three years young has sex... but why is that?
If a teenager is in love with her boyfriend and they have been together a very long time and have sex.. it seems farrrr more looked down upon than these tv shows that have a 22 year old that has sex on their first date.
Does anyone get what Im trying to say?
Its like its fine for a couple of 22 year olds to have sex on their first date
Than for two teens very much in love and dating for over a year to have sex.

i totally agree.
i guess the stupid reasoning behind it all is that if a teenager get's preg then he/she's going to have to raise the baby while going to school. i really don't see how it would be any better for a 20 year old having one night stands every night though. it seems that as long as they have condoms and bc and are reasponsible enough then it should be fine.
