I noticed that day repeated a lot, and was wondering if there was any symbolic meaning behind it.
It shows up when:
Cathy says "I can be your friend, but only til next Tuesday"
& When the girls threw those heels in the bushes, & someone's mom threw it away on Tuesday
In the chapter where they talk about Rafaela, and the way she drinks Coconut and Papaya Juice on Tuesdays
And it also shows up when they introduce Sally. The author talked about how Cheryl wasn't her friend, not since the Tuesday before Easter.
Maybe I'm over exaggerating but yeah. Is there any meaning to this date? I haven't read the entire book yet though. So yeah. thanks !
