Why isn't Motorola making money?

It's global know brand and it's phones are pretty sweet, i still see tons of people using RAZR almost everywhere I go why are they not making money? is it because their gross margin sucks? are they actually making money for each phone they sold?
 
Its purely because of the competition.. I remember one time that it was only Motorola who sold phones then Nokia came along and got stuck into the market.. I think Motorola have good sets now..I have one myself.. My last phone was a Nokia 63 10 i ..That was a great phone ..
 
I've always like Motorola products but I think Nokia is making a much better cell phone now.
