Why my sony ericsson V640i phone can't see WMV videos?

so...i have a sony ericsson V640i. and i read that this phone can play also WMV videos. but when i tried to see one, it didn't work. can you help me and tell me why it doesn't work and tell me what can i do?PLEASE!!!thank you
