Why people here hate symbian/windows phone os?

i been wondering why people here hate symbian and windows phone os,most ofthem post bad comment about this os even if they are not that bad especially newsymbian belle and windows mango,me and my friend are really excited about new mango os,
 
Most likely because Symbian has a very outdated look and feel to it, like a smartphone from a decade ago. Windows does nothing but break down and try to spy and restrict everything you do on your PC, XBOX, why would a phone be any different. Windows Mobie was a terrible interface and the current reincarnation is no different.
 
windows phone:

windows phone lower than version 7 were terrible un-optimized rubbish.

windows phone 7 is very good and polished and 7.5 is closer to getting to android and iphone standard however the marketplace is still lacking compared to android and iphone app stores. however the only really good thing mange brings to the table is wifi hotspot that android has had for years and iphone has had for months.

symbian:

this is old an outdated OS nokia were the only ones still clinging onto it but they have now finally ditched it for windows phone 7.5
