why they keep giving Repeats Of Gossip Girl?

they been Giving Repeats of gossip girl theses past couple of weeks.i don't like repeats.why aren't they showing the new episodes?i wanna see the new episode so bad!!!
 
I'm sure it's because they are trying to drag the season out or possibly to make fans all crazy about it. I understand though. I love that show!
