Why was Jesus named Christ?

Jesus Christ was not actually his name, it was his title.

Yeshua Christos means anointed saviour.

So Yeshua of Nazareth means saviour of the Nazarenes, a Jewish cult.

His name was probably Josephus.

You can't fail to notice the parallels between the stories of both.

Christ is a greek translation of the word Messiah. Messiah means savior. It is not a last name or anything, it is a title. So you could say Christ Jesus or Jesus Christ. It would mean the Mesiah Jesus, or Jesus the Messiah.

Why do u say Jesus Is not God? He is actually kind of both (of how I know it) God, Jesus, and the Holy spirit are one, but also somehow seperate (I think)
