Why won't Anderson Cooper admit he's gay?

He has already been outed with Julio Cesar Recio numerous times. There is a picture on flickr of him standing right next to Julio at a dog show. His book says "I would like to thank Julio for his support". They live at the same apartment, as proven in the telephone book. He has been linked to other guys in the past. When talking to Jerry Falwell about gay rights, he said "you know WE pay taxes", he has made other mistakes hinting at his sexuality, and has tons of awards from organizations like GLAAD. It is obvious that he is queer, so why won't he come out? Any ideas?
