I have been dating this guy for 5 months now. We both live in the same city but grew up in other cities within the same state. So far he has met two of my cousins and in the past three weeks he met my parents and my grandparents who were visiting from out of the country. He seemed to have no problem with meeting any of my friends or family.
He has one friend who lives in town and all his other close friends and family live out of town about 3 hours away. However, after 5 months he hasn't introduced me to anyone he knows at all! His best friend "Rob" lives in town and I know he complains how "Rob" always has to has hi gf with him because she won't let him out alone, and I'm not asking to be like that...I understand his need for some "guy time" but if like last night he went out to dinner with Rob & Rob's gf, then went shopping - why does he not even think to invite me? Ever?! Or tonight he's going to a co-worker's b-day party that's just a pub crawl (he doesn't drink and only plans on going for an hour) - but again he doesn't invite me. These all seem like normal situations that you would bring your girlfriend too. So I do not understand.
I also don't know how to bring it up to him. It really upsets me. He makes a lot of time for me in our mutually busy schedules but always alone. I don't have any friends who live in town so it would mean so much to me to have more to do on a weekend. We're both in our upper 20s so I feel like from past experiences this is just weird. I hate to make comparisons but no other boyfriend of mine would have ever left me home alone on a Friday or Saturday night for no good reason.
