Why won't my bittorrent downloads download?

I use bittorrent and I download through piratebay.org. All of the downloads that I select are refusing to do anything at all, even though I choose the ones with plenty of seeders and barely any leechers. It doesn't turn red or say timed out or anything like that. It just stays completely grey and says 0.0% on the download with no health and no seeders or anything. Any clue as to what might help?

Have you ever downloaded anything on torrent? If not this may be a firewall issue (or more accurately port forwarding issue). There is a website called port forwarding that will give you much better and more detailed help

umm. well they could have tracked your ip adress and pretty much stopped all downloads through it..... DONT TORRENT WITHOUT HIDING YOUR IP
