Alright everyone please help me. I think im just paranoid though. I bought this 2005 KX250f from this guy. He had it rebuilt from top to bottom he said he couldnt remember what gear it was, he thought it was 3rd or 4th that they did something too. Im pretty sure he said put a new gear in. Actually im 100% sure he said that. The engine runs fine but the problem im having is shifting into 4th. it goes through all the other gears fine but once I get to 4th I have to pull up on the shifter about 4 times and then she'll click right in. No grinding or nothing. No odd sounds at all. It just takes a few pulls on the shifter. So my questions is, is that do you think its doing this because of the fact that its new and it needs to be broken in? Or do I have a problem? It stays in 4th fine once I get it in there doesn't slip at all. And it'll shift right into 5th fine but sometimes shifting down from 4th I have to push a little harder to go down into 3rd. Hope thats enough info and hopefully Im just paranoid! Thank you!!
