cord)? It worked yesterday. No changes were made to the router/modem. The other computer in the house is connected fine through the other ethernet cord. I checked, and yes, it is plugged in all the way. My laptop connects to the modem through wireless fine, but its always been too slow to play my video game so I always use direct connection. Any ideas why this is happening or what I could do to fix it?
What do you mean. Turn the computer off or the router? I've already turned the comp off and on 3 times.
 
You need to turn it off and back on again. When you have done this give it a few minutes to connect again.
