A AnotherMe1 New member Jan 3, 2010 #1 Just normal, fairly large file size screen recordings saved as Quicktime movies. Hoping to reduce the file size but DivX Converter doesn't seem to have any impact, sometimes the files are larger than the original Quicktime.

M MaxHeadroom New member Jan 3, 2010 #2 Quicktime using H264 compression is every bit as good as DivX. .mov isn't a valid container for DivX encoded movies. Try converting to .avi first, and *then* DivX encoding them.
