Is it an HD micro SD card?
some readers cant support HDSC
also some phones have software issues and cant recognise past 2-4gb of memory. if you have a high capacity card, perhaps switch to a lower one.
it happened with my N72 . I realised my memory card had got corrupted basically was virus infected.try a different memory card maybe ur frnd's see if it works. hope this helps.
