so, i'm a resident of the great state of Ohio and being as such was a victim of a recent ice storm we had. i was scraping/chipping the ice off my van and as i was opening my door to get out a spare scraper, i slipped & fell on my right combination switch, which controls the turn signals, brights, wiper blades. and is connected to the button that controls the hazards. the part was easy to replace, just a quick grab from the junk yard of an old plymouth voyager, & i had turn signals & brights again, as well as hazards. unfortunately, for some reason the wiper blades won't shut off at all. even when the switch is the off position it's going in the like 3rd or 4th speed. when i have it in the 1st speed position it does slow down but still doesn't have a regular rhythm of any kind & i have no other control over them other than putting it to full speed, it does do that when i set it that far. right now i just take the fuse out, but i've checked the relays, had a guy use an OBD2 machine to check it for codes & it had none showing. if anyone knows anyway to fix this without taking it to a repair shop it'd be appreciated. thanks!
