Why wont the Ares 2.1.7 on my computer let me preview the videos I'm downloading?

The Ares on my computer has never gave me problems before when I needed to preview a video that I would be downloading, but now when I try to preview a video it will either freeze up on me or it will close my Ares down and when I click on it again it will come back up but it will be re-connecting like it would when my computer first gets turned on. I have Norton Anti-virus on my computer and I thought at first that that might be the reason but I had that before my Ares started doing this. Can someone please help me? thanks

First trend anti virus is much better second go to control pennel then programs the ares then rite click then press uninstall then reinstall
