"I, even I, am HE who BLOTS OUT YOUR TRANSGRESSIONS, FOR MY OWN SAKE AND REMEMBERS YOUR SINS NO MORE." Isaiah 43:25

'My Name shall be there,' so that you will hear the prayer your servant prays toward this place. Hear the supplication of your servant and of your people Israel when they pray toward this place...

IRONIC: "They worshiped the LORD, but they also appointed all sorts of their own people to officiate for them as priest in the shrines at the high places. They worshiped the LORD, but they also served their own gods in accordance with the customs of the nations from which they had been brought.(Rome and Paul with Triune gods)...

To this day they persist in their former practices. They neither worship the LORD nor adhere to the decrees and ordinances, the laws and commands that the LORD gave the descendants of JACOB(i.e. Israel) whom he named Israel....

They would not listen, however, but persisted in their former practices. Even while these people were worshiping the LORD, they were serving their idols. To this day their children and grandchildren continue to do as their fathers did." 2Kings 17:32-41

Isa 43:21 I have made Israel for Myself, and they will someday honor Me before the whole world.

are you Israel?

In that day why did GOD tell your father Abraham to sacrifice a lamb? Wouldn't that have been "unnecessary" as well?

Ooops.

To answer your question-
Christ didn't need, we need. Therefore Christ did as the Father willed. You and I are not to question the Father's will.
