They gave him vinegar to drink MINGLED with gall:
and when he had tasted [thereof], he would not drink.

Mark 15:23
And they gave him to drink wine MINGLED with myrrh:
but he received [it] not.

Revelation 15:2
And I saw as it were a sea of glass MINGLED with fire

Hint: an oxy-MORON = contrary things MINGLED
Hint: every tree vs not every tree = contrary things

Hint:
One of these things is not like the other one, and
one of these things just does not belong. So can you
figure out which of twain things eaten to flush as dung,
and do it before they sing their Revelation 15 song?

Plan A: After, Above, Accepted, Approved... Grace
Plan B: Before, Beneath, Bondage, Bewitched...Law.

Plan A: Genesis 2:16 - every tree, freely given... Grace
Plan B: Genesis 2:17 - not every tree, surely die... Law
pst: you cannot disobey Grace by itself, as it is harmless,
and you cannot obey Grace when the harmful Law is added.
So one of these different things just does not belong to God,
unless perhaps you think that God is a mingled oxy-MORON,
like the Woman did in her answer to the serpent in Genesis 3.
 
Well vinegar and gall are both bitter liquids that do nothing for thirst - and Jesus was thirsty.

This fulfilled these words of David in the Psalms

Psa 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
