Why would you choose to attend or teach at a Catholic college and then...

...complain about it displaying its faith? http://www.cathnewsusa.com/article.aspx?aeid=11731
The fact remains sir that this is a Catholic college and as such they can decide to place any Catholic symbol they wish where they wish

Haha, that's me! I go to a Catholic private school and yet it annoys me how many masses we have.

But that's only on my bad days.

Why would someone go to a non-religious school and then demand a two-hour sermon every week? Why not simply go to a religious school?

Us humans suck.

Good question. That would be like me complaining about the Catholic hospital where I work displaying crucifixes and having nuns running around cheering people up.

Intolerance and hubristic arrogance and stupidity("Are you then tending your resignation?")

Imagine if a professor objected to showing Jewish religious objects at Brandeis?

You know, I had a friend who did that... Went to a Catholic Uni here in Buffalo and b*tched about the crucifixes on the wall.

She made the choice to go there... In my opinion, that negated her right to complain about it.

You try to spin the article. It is actually about the summary decision to install sect-specific crucifixes to replace the 'generic' crosses they already had.

While the college can do pretty much what they want, I would also question why they would choose to do such a controversial and exclusionary thing, considering their intake is not catholics only.

Why complain? Because some people inevitably signed up to join the college while the generic crosses were in place and on the assumption - possibly the assurance - that they would remain so. Quite reasonably, people who are now not getting what they signed up for want recourse.

Hmm! don't quote me the Jesuit are on the highest level of the illuminati pyramid

Normally anti-Christ can't stand to see the cruxifixes not only in Christians schools but everywhere, true Christians should understand the time is near

Personally, I believe it's because people hate the message of Christ, and won't stop fighting it until it's wiped from the map, so to speak.

You can see evidence of that here in R&S when otherwise intelligent people declare that religious belief is a mental illness and advocate a banning on teaching our children about our own religious beliefs.

That's fascism.

People will find anything the complain about. Many yrs ago we were very active in Y-Guides and sports at the local YMCA. We had one atheist family complain that there was a prayer one day to open a large Y-Guides event (the program was called indian guides at the time but has since changed the name). HELLO the C in YMCA stand for Christian.

We are not Christian, but my daughter wanted to take drama at a local Church that was offer a youth arts program. While I felt the play turned out to be a little over the top, I never once complained about Christian content in their program.

Funny side note...A good friend and I found it very funny that my daughter, the only non-christian in the program, got the lead role in the play. So guess who had the speech about accepting Christ into your heart at the end of the play...
