Why wouldn't my BMW 2001 330xi will not start. ?

My battery ran down and my husband charged it slowly over 3 hours as my mechanic instructed and all the lights and bells are on but the engine will not turn over. What could be the problem? I am ready to blow it up! Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

my first suggestion would be:
get out your wallet
open it
take out your clean team privileges card
make sure you are part of the platinum diamond alliance
call your dealer and make an appointment to have your car cleaned and serviced by an authorized BMW trained technician
