Because it was established by Christ, has apostolic succession, the Fullness of Truth, and the Sacraments. The apostle Paul preached on the steps of the Acropolis.

I am a convert to the Orthodox church as I feel it is the only church in Christianity that has a leg to stand on.
The Churches of the west- are the result of the fall of Rome, the corruption of Rome or splintered of latter.
What finally got me to convert was the Liturgy.

I was raised in the Roman Catholic Church and converted to the Eastern Orthodox Church as an adult after many years of searching and hesitation. I am Orthodox because it lines up with the teachings of Jesus, I joined because I agree with their teachings more than I do any other teaching of the Gospel.
Also, I like the challenge of living the Orthodox life. Certainly, I fail, but out of all the teachings, the Eastern Orthodox is by far the toughest to live in this world.

Orthodoxy-Christianity, only tougher.
