BlackBerry WAS good, not anymore.
Sadly, I recently bought a BlackBerry Torch, and fell in love with it. Don't get me wrong, I still am, but really, the only thing that made BlackBerries so distinct is the BlackBerry Messenger, commonly referred to as BBM. BBM is this advanced, BlackBerry-exclusive messenger service that works like MSN, but has more intelligent features than standard IM clients.
The problem with BBM, however, is that RIM is planning to break the whole "exclusive" boundary by adding Google Androids and Apple iPhones into supporting BBM too. So basically BBM will now be available for all 3 major smartphone markets, which I find really stupid since that's the only thing that made people want to get a BlackBerry.
Not making the same mistake again. My next phone will definitely be an iPhone or an Android.
RIM's BlackBerry is just a trend that is soon going to be plummeting unless they think of better designs and features. And really, that's not going anywhere.
