I have iTunes 8, Windows Vista, latest version of the iPhone software, and am on the same wifi network with both my iPhone and computer with iTunes open. When I open the remote app, no libraries show up on my iPhone as an option, so I click "add library" and it gives me a passcode, but iTunes doesn't pop up the remote under the devices tab like it should. I checked my iTunes settings and it's set to look for remotes and devices, and I had none on there to "forget" (i.e. I wasn't at my maximum allotted or anything). I went through Apple's support page for the application and followed all their instructions that applied to me. I've also rebooted iTunes, my laptop, and my iPhone.
Has anyone had similar problems and found a way around this that wasn't spelled out by Apple? Thanks!
