...sound system.? When the volume is adjusted the number (volume level) will go either up or down on the LED. I was listening to a song and playing it on my guitar...when I got about 2/3rds of the way through the song, the volume level on the player popped up on the LED and with my own eyes I watched it get lower and lower to until it was at zero. The volume followed accordingly. The DVD player is a PHILLIPS MX6050D.
Does anyone know of a reasonable explanation for this? Maybe this is a feature of the system? If so its a strange feature.
BTW...the remote was sitting on my desk. Untouched and facing away from the player.
