Wii: Would a "remote+nun chuck" from Asia work on a wii console from america?

these products are from china. would it work on an American console?

As you can see there's a little bit of Chinese writing on the boxes.
sorry I'm not sure if the writing on the box is Chinese or not. but the product is definitely from china.
