will a Pioneer DEH-1400 Stereo fit in a 1993 Chevy Lumina?

I'm attempting to install a Pioneer DEH-1400 Stereo in a 1993 Lumina. It seems the stereo is to long to fit in the opening. Am I just not installing it correctlly? Thanks.
