will a sidekick lx work with rogers????

I am buying or planning on buying a sidekick lx. Its fully unlocked. Im planning on using it with rogers. i need to know if it will fully work. I live in Canada, hamilton to be exact. Some say it will work others say it wont. im really confused so i need to know if the phone will work and if i will have any complications with the phone. And also, if you happen to own a sidekick lx, please write to me the negative aspects of it so i can take it into consideration. thanks
 
calls, text messaging and voicemail should work fine, but you will have for sure no access to data network. And even if youa access you will not have all features available to you.

PS. Sidekich is kinda big. Do you really wanna have this in your pocket. Have you looked into other phones? How about LG Prada?
